The book of John is known for its emphasis on Jesus' divinity and His relationship with the Father, as well as its focus on belief and eternal life. It also includes unique stories and teachings not found in the other Gospels.

Chapter 1: Prologue - the Word became flesh, John the Baptist's testimony, and the calling of the first disciples

Chapter 2: Wedding at Cana - Jesus' first miracle, cleansing of the temple, and Jesus' prediction of His death and resurrection

Chapter 3: Nicodemus' conversation with Jesus - being born again, and John the Baptist's testimony

Chapter 4: Jesus' conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well, healing of the official's son, and Jesus' rejection in His hometown

Chapter 5: Healing of a man at the pool of Bethesda on the Sabbath, Jesus' claims about Himself, and testimony from John the Baptist

Chapter 6: Feeding of the five thousand, Jesus walking on water, and teaching on the bread of life

Chapter 7: Debate among the Jews about Jesus, Jesus teaches in the temple, and division among the people

Chapter 8: Woman caught in adultery, Jesus' claim to be the light of the world, and debate with the Pharisees

Chapter 9: Healing of a man born blind, controversy over the healing, and Jesus' claims about Himself

Chapter 10: Parable of the good shepherd, Jesus' claim to be the Son of God, and division among the Jews

Chapter 11: Raising of Lazarus from the dead, plot to kill Jesus, and Jesus' anointing at Bethany

Chapter 12: Triumphal entry into Jerusalem, teaching on the grain of wheat, and unbelief among the Jews

Chapter 13: Jesus washes the disciples' feet, prediction of Judas' betrayal, and teaching on love and Peter's denial

Chapter 14: Jesus promises the Holy Spirit, teaches on His departure and return, and the disciples' confusion

Chapter 15: Jesus' teaching on the vine and branches, the world's hatred, and the Holy Spirit's testimony

Chapter 16: Jesus' warning of persecution, teaching on the Holy Spirit's work, and His departure and return

Chapter 17: Jesus' prayer for Himself, His disciples, and all believers

Chapter 18: Jesus' arrest and trial before Annas, Peter's denial, and Jesus' trial before Pilate

Chapter 19: Jesus' crucifixion, death, and burial

Chapter 20: Resurrection and appearance to Mary Magdalene, appearance to the disciples, and Thomas' confession of faith

Chapter 21: Appearance of Jesus to the disciples by the Sea of Galilee, restoration of Peter, and Jesus' prophecy of Peter's death

What Is Evangelism?  Evangelism is the intentional and loving act of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others. It is the clear communication of God’s plan of salvation so that people can hear, understand, and respond to the Gospel. Evangelism centers on the message that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again , providing the way for forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and eternal life. It is not about arguments, pressure, or force. Evangelism is about truth spoken in love . As Christians, we are called to share this message with everyone because God’s salvation is offered to all people—regardless of background, race, age, education, income, or past mistakes. The Basics of Evangelizing  Listed here are three foundational suggestions for evangelizing. You must be saved. You must pray that the holy spirit takes control. You must study God's word. There is truly no strict right or wrong method—these are simply practical guidelines to help us think intentionally about sharing the Gospel. When reaching out to lost souls, it can be helpful to consider the basic questions: What? When? Where? Why? How? These questions help us become more thoughtful and effective in our approach. What? What is the message we are sharing? The message is the Good News of Jesus Christ and God’s Plan of Salvation. When? When should we share? We share whenever God opens the door—during daily conversations, planned opportunities, or unexpected moments. Where? Where can we share?
