Habakkuk Brief Study Notes

The Book of Habakkuk is a prophetic book in the Old Testament of the Bible. The book is attributed to the prophet Habakkuk, who likely lived in the late 7th century BCE. The book contains a dialogue between Habakkuk and God, in which Habakkuk questions God's justice in light of the wickedness and violence he sees in the world. God responds by explaining that He will use the Babylonians to judge Judah, but that He will ultimately bring justice and salvation to His people.
