Jonah Brief Study Notes

The Book of Jonah is a prophetic book in the Old Testament of the Bible. The book tells the story of the prophet Jonah, who was called by God to preach to the people of Nineveh, a great city in Assyria. However, Jonah initially refuses to go and tries to flee from God. Eventually, Jonah relents and goes to Nineveh, where he delivers a message of judgment against the city. However, to Jonah's surprise, the people of Nineveh repent and turn to God, and God shows mercy and spares the city from destruction.
